Bronwyn Lakay (B.Sc(Hons), M.Chiro, DSIT, DRM ) – Principal
Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Reconnective Healing Practitioner and Instructor
Bronwyn graduated in Sydney as a Chiropractor in 2002. She had worked at a number of different private practices in Toowoomba and Sydney prior to moving to the Gold Coast at the end of 2004, to open Coolangatta Chiropractic Centre. Prior to chiropractic, Bronwyn had graduated with a Bachelor of Science; with Honours in Anatomy in 1996. She had also obtained a Diploma of Sports Injury Therapies, Diploma in Remedial Massage in 1997. In addition, Bronwyn is a certified Reconnective Healing® Practitioner, Mentor and Instructor, having trained with Dr Eric Pearl, founder of the work in 2004.
Bronwyn is actively involved in running Coolangatta Chiropractic Centre - offering services in Chiropractic, Massage and Reconnective Healing®, and teaching around the globe with The Reconnection teaching faculty – teaching at Reconnective Healing® (Level I/II seminars), The Reconnection® (Level III seminars) and Reconnective Kids Workshops! Bronwyn particularly loves working with children, and feels that she is still a child at heart. Bronwyn believes and honours the inborn potential of everyone. Bronwyn works with children of all ages – from newborns to the elderly... She acknowledges that doctors or practitioners do not heal, but assist in facilitating healing – as each individual heals themself. Bronwyn loves life, and is passionate about empowering, caring and sharing with everyone she meets!

With Reconnective Healing individuals can achieve their highest levels of health and well being. I offer Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection sessions.

Imagine my surprise when, as a twenty something year old waitress slash binge-drinking barmaid with an eating disorder - without a clue, never mind a plan – I am suddenly informed by a Tarot Card Reader that I am scheduled to become a MASTER HEALER in this lifetime!!
Aforementioned tarot card reader slash psychometrist has taken hold of the ring I inherited from Auntie Gladys and is now rabbiting on about a past life in Ancient Egypt where I was apparently a High Priestess. As the story goes, I’ve had many lifetimes using just my mind power, but this time round, the totality of my being will become an instrument for healing.
I don’t know how you would react, but by now I’m thinking this ring has possibly fallen onto the wrong hand; I mean, maybe Auntie Gladys had some secret powers that the family has failed to mention, but I certainly don’t. Or perhaps tarot card reader is simply not playing with a full deck of cards....But no, there she is, telling me all about my LIFE PURPOSE....and I didn’t even know there was such a thing!
This supposedly short biography is in danger of becoming a short novel, so let us just say that I did not immediately rush out and take up my purpose. I instead chose the scenic route with many detours along the way.
Fast forward twenty something years; there I am at a Reconnective Healing Seminar, feeling the reconnective frequencies when it suddenly hits me like a giant starburst – THAT TAROT CARD READER MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH A FULL DECK!!
It is with great pleasure that I join Bronwyn’s team and offer others the opportunity to experience Reconnective Healing.
